Additional funding for co-creation and implementation

The National Research Programme “Baukultur” (NRP 81) has placed great emphasis on the practical application of research findings since day one. This is partly because Baukultur is a very practical field of research that addresses specific challenges – such as streets and village centres, the buildings we live in and where we go to school or work, the points of view of young people and displaced people, and the way in which we plan and build.

The project teams were therefore tasked with suggesting implementation projects as early as the call stage. The teams can now apply for additional funding that is being made available by the Steering Committee to strengthen these implementation scenarios and the underlying co-creation approaches. The additional funding will be granted exclusively as part of the programme. The proposals submitted must build on the applicants’ existing implementation project and expand on the planned measures and activities. Discussions, teamwork and synergies between projects and disciplines are expressly encouraged. Consequently, joint applications from several project teams may also be submitted.
