Announcement Forum Baukultur in Bern

It has quickly become a fixture in the calendar: the Forum Baukultur has been organised by the Federal Office of Culture on behalf of the interdepartmental Baukultur working group since 2021 and will take place for the fifth time in May 2026. The steadily growing group of participants is made up of stakeholders from administrations, science, the construction sector and civil society. They are all united by an interest in a high quality in Baukultur and that this is promoted and demanded wherever possible.

As in previous years, the Baukultur specialists will meet at the Paul Klee Centre in the east of the city of Bern. This year, two events are being bundled together. On 11 May 2026, participants at the national exchange and networking platform Forum Baukultur will talk about liveable places. One day later, on 12 May 2026, the same topic will be discussed at an international conference in cooperation with the Davos Baukultur Alliance. The focus here is on examples and experiences from a global perspective.
